Renovation and adaptation

The halls of the former Heidenreich & Harbeck machine factory, built between 1917 and 1935, are being converted into a new center for young performing arts by Sprinkenhof GmbH on behalf of the City of Hamburg. The historic sawtooth-roofed halls with their steel frame construction, along with the office wing running alongside the street, offer 9,000 m² for the Young Theatre Hamburg, the Hamburg Theatre Academy, and the Institute for Cultural and Media Management of the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre.
